Overview of the different services offered

This website offers meditation sessions for groups and individuals. For groups there are also courses in mindfulness meditation and heart practices (Brahma Viharas), to understand what we do during meditation, how to make the best use of it and learn the most fundamental meditation techniques. These are experiential courses, geared towards the transformation of our lives.

One of the most transformative meditations is RAIN meditation, which we offer for both groups and individuals. It's a guided meditation where each participant can apply mindfulness and compassion to a personal issue, and learn this valuable tool so they can apply it themselves in future challenges and difficult situations. It's a great way to integrate meditation into our daily lives.

Finally, there are group mentoring sessions, where meditation and mindfulness tools are provided to address personal issues raised by the participants. The mentoring format is more interactive and spontaneous, offering a wide range of practices and meditations applicable to all kinds of situations that may arise in our lives, and helping us break free from specific mental states we may fall into on a daily basis.

Through RAIN sessions and mentoring, we increasingly establish ourselves in a broader experience of ourselves, which includes the body and an intimate contact with underlying emotions that we barely perceive in our daily lives.

In the individual session format, one-on-one RAIN sessions are offered, where the session is tailored to the specific topic the participant wishes to address, and they are guided throughout the meditation. Alternatively, sessions can be conducted without a specific topic, allowing participants to explore and develop their ability to apply the RAIN technique to any aspect of their daily life.

In individual mentoring sessions, RAIN meditation is complemented with other meditations that can help address more specific issues. We also offer individual mindfulness meditation sessions for those who want to establish or deepen their meditation practice.

Regarding the practices

These practices are based on the mindfulness meditation approach taught by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, which has it roots in the Theravada buddhist tradition but takes elements from other buddhist traditions, psychology and other religious practices. They are non-sectarian and require no adherence to any particular belief. Nontheless, we feel it is appropriate to acknowledge their origin and express our gratitude to the thousands of teachers and practitioners who have kept these teachings alive and passed them down through generations. Their benefits have been widely documented by medical science for decades now, including in stress reduction, increased emotional regulation and focus, greater sense of well being, among others. This approach is trauma informed. We also want to emphasize that, beyond the health benefits, these practices are intended for the liberation and ultimate happiness of all beings.
